Tournament Fees

Team Fee

$1495

 

Teams must pay a single fee that includes up to 10 skaters and a goalie.  After the team fee is paid by the captain, players must still register online for the Tournament.  Teams must have at least eight skaters and a goalie.  No team may have more than 10 skaters.

Individual & Unassigned Player Teams must have a minimum of eight skaters and a goalie paid in full by the registration deadline. Teams which have not met the minimum player requirement by the registration deadline may be replaced or have players assigned to it. Individual or unassigned players may contact the Tournament Director to be put on a waiting list.  These players should provide the desired Division and information to support their Division selection. The Hockey Director will contact individual players once assigned to a team.
Registration Deadline The REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Friday, May 18th. You must pay in full at registration. Teams which have not met the minimum player requirement by the registration deadline may be replaced or have players assigned to it.
Roster Deadline Rosters must be submitted to the tournament director by Friday, May 18th. Rosters must include players full name and email address.

 

Description

  • Four on four adult hockey tournament held annually since 2008.
  • Each Division has four teams competing in round robin, semi-final and championship game play.
  • Tournament Divisions:
    • RED - Advanced.  Eligible Pineville Adult Leagues = C1/B (2 B players allowed max per team).
    • WHITE - Intermediate.  Eligible Pineville Adult Leagues = C2.
    • BLUE - Beginner/novice.  Eligible Pineville Adult League = C3/D.
  • The tournament typically includes a tailgate party with food, beer, outdoor games and prizes.
  • Games will be live streamed on LiveBarn.

Dates

  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday, May 24-26, 2024.  This is our 16th annual tournament. 
  • Our 2024 tournament will take place on Memorial Day Weekend.

Game Times

Round robin games are played Friday evening and all day Saturday.  Playoff and championship games are played on Sunday. Refer to the schedule at the bottom of this page for game times and tournament results.

Tournament Format

  • Four Game Guarantee - Each team plays three round robin games plus at least one playoff game.  Two teams from each Division play a fifth championship game.
  • Game Time - A two minute warmup time will be provided prior to the game.  Games consist of three, 14 minute running time periods with a final minute of stopped time if a one goal differential or a tie exists.
  • Standings - Two points for winning a game; one point for tying a round robin game.
  • Seeding Tie Breakers - Head to head results, fewest penalty minutes, fewest goals against.
  • Playoff Ties - Three player shoot-out followed by alternating, single player sudden death rounds.
  • Penalties - Two minute running time (5 min major).  Any player that receives four penalties in a game will be ejected.
  • Penalty Time - Stopped time if clock is stopped in final minute of play. 
  • Other Rules - Pineville Adult League rules apply in absence of Tournament guidelines.
  • Timeouts - No timeouts during round robin.

Rosters

  • Each team must have a minimum of eight skaters plus a goalie.
  • No team may have more than 10 skaters.
  • Players must play at the appropriate level. 
  • Red Division - C1/B (2 B players max per team) players 
  • White Division - C2 players (No B or C1 players)
  • Blue  Division- C3/D players only
  • All players must be registered and playing in the PIH Adult league.  Requests for non-league players may be sent to the Tournament Director.
  • The Director reserves the right to reject players or teams or to move players or teams to different levels.

Jerseys

Tournament Jerseys will be provided.  Players may keep their jersey as a souvenir.  Team jersey colors are red, white, blue, and green.  Color requests are available on a first come first served basis via the online registration.

Hardest Shot Competition

One winner will be named from each tournament division and will receive a prize.  Competition times will be posted on the event schedule.

Prizes & Souvenirs

The tournament includes participant souvenir jersey, raffle prizes and team tournament awards.

Food & Beverage

The tournament includes complimentary food and beverages on Saturday afternoon.
